Onion Roasted Potatoes...aka foe dutch oven potatoes

1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/3 cup veg. oil
2 lbs potatoes cut into chunks (skins on)
bacon cooked and crumbled (optional)

Preheat oven to 450. In large plastic bag, add all ingredients. Close bag an shake until potatoes are evenly coated. Empty potatoes into shallow baking or roasting pan. Discard bag. Bake stirring occasionally 40 min or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
