Creamy Orange Jello Salad


1 pkg. (6 ounces) orange gelatin

2 c. boiling water

6 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Dissolve gelatin in water. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. 

Gradually blend in hot gelatin, beating on low speed until smooth.

Stir in condensed milk; fold in whipped topping.

Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for 4 hours until firm

Marshmallow fruit salad

1/2 bag mini marshmallows
1 cup coconut sweetened
1 can crushed pineapple drained
1 can mandarin oranges drained
2 chopped bananas
2 chopped apples
8 oz sour cream

Strawberry Apple Jello

1 lrg. pkg. Strawberry Jello...dissolve in...1/3 c. sugar and 1 & 1/2 c. boiling water
add: 3/4 c. orange juice
1 small can concentrated orange juice
1 c. crushed pineapple
5 lrg. Apple grated
(set the day before)

Topping:
1/2 pt. whipping cream (whipped)
fold in 2 bananas cut fine (opt). You can use cool whip and just put bananas on top as you serve.

Cole Slaw


1 small head cabbage
1/2 head purple cabbage
2 medium carrots, peeled
1 cup best foods mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. milk
a dash of salt (to taste)

Slice all cabbage into thin strips; then cut strips into medium pieces.
Grate carrots; mix with cabbage.
Mix mayo, sugar, milk and salt together.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
This mixture should be a smooth and creamy sauce.
Pour dressing over cabbage-carrot mixture.
Stir until all carrots and cabbage are covered.
OR...

 "Cheat" like me and by a package of premade cole slaw salad mix.
Mix wet ingredience together and pour about 3/4 dressing over the salad mix.
Let set for a few minutes.

Three Bean Salad

1 can green beans (drained)
1 can garbanzo beans (drained)
1 can kidney beans (rinse & drain)
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped green pepper
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup white vinegar
½ cup oil
Dash pepper

Mix all ingredients! Let marinate overnight, Stir every few hours. Refrigerate.

Bacon and Broccoli Salad

2-4 stalks fresh broccoli, chopped bite size
1/2 medium onion, diced
1/2 lb bacon, fried and crumbled
1/2 cup raisins

Dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup mayonnaise (I use only Best Foods)
2 Tbsp vinegar

Toss all together. Add bacon and dressing just before serving.
You can add shredded cheese if you want.

Cookie Salad

3 oz. pkg. vanilla pudding
1 cup buttermilk
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 small can mandarin oranges drained
1 small can pineapple chunks drained
1/4-1/2 pkg. fudge striped cookies.

Mix vanilla pudding and buttermilk together until smooth. Next, stir in Cool Whip. Add mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks. Before serving break up cookies and fold into salad.

Orange Jell-O Salad

1 (6oz.) Package Orange Jell-O
1 Large Package Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 (12oz.) can Pineapple Tidbits
1 (11 oz.) can Mandarin Oranges
1 (8 oz.) Tub Cool Whip
Mix dry Jell-O and dry Pudding together.
Add 2 cups boiling water and stir until dissolved.
Chill until partially set.
Add un-drained cans of fruit.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Chill for at least 1 hour.
